Imantis Advertising Group – 2006
A full service ad-agency located in London, Ontario. Imantis advertising provides a range of design services and solutions for some of London’s most well known companies and brands.
Needs:
- to centralize design and production data from a group of disparate PCs on a local area network
- to be able to have the entire agency’s data and production work protected against fire/theft/data loss/hardware failure
- provide a cost-effective and unified web hosting solution for the agency’s client base
Solutions:
- Production work and company data was transferred to a small NAS (network attached storage) unit allowing for centralized data storage and protection using 4 RAID hard drives. A system of routine backups to an off site external hard drive was implemented to protect business data against fire/theft
- A co-located reseller hosting service was purchased and the agency’s multiple client accounts were consolidated under one reseller account for simpler and cost-effective maintenance
